There are many ways of looking at a bentwood box of traditional design and trying to decipher the meaning or see the figures. Being a student of the art form can be never ending. For me, it is something that naturally finds its way to the surface of my soul; it is there I express my feelings. Within this box design, Elements Within III is a mosquito design with a human in its mouth. Everybody has a box of treasures and this is one I would like to share with everyone to show that we are all spiritual one way or another. Within this box is the line between our spirituality and the world we live in today. The red form line in Elements Within III represents our natural world. – Rande Cook
