Description
This large nearly 4 foot long Yellow Cedar Orca or Killer Whale Panel is carved and painted by Native American Artist Bill Henderson from the Kwakwaka´wakw Nation, formerly known as the Kwakiutl Nation.
The Orca or Killer Whale symbolizes family, romance, longevity, harmony, travel, community and protection. He is said to protect those who travel away from home, and to lead them back when the time comes. Orcas will often stay their whole life with the same pod and raise each calf with care.

The custom panel will be similar to the following on the images below. It features 28 Abalone Paua inlays and dark green, dark red and black acrylic paint. The yellow cedar panel is about 47 inches or 120 centimeters long, up to 30 inches or 76 centimeters high and up to 1 1 2 inches or 4 centimeters thick.
